SETX Training institute

Established in 1999, 

Captain Danny Walker is the Owner/Operator and Chief Firearms Instructor of the East Texas Tactical Firearms Training School and SETX Training Institute. He has worked in the Law Enforcement profession since 1993 and is now retired after 31 1/2 years of service. He holds a Master Peace Officer’s Certificate, TCOLE Firearms Certification, Texas Department of Public Safety Firearms Instructor Certification as well as an Advanced Instructor’s License and Texas License to Carry Instructors Certificate. He has taught numerous firearms courses in his career, including basic, intermediate, and advanced handgun, AR-15 type rifle shooting, patrol rifle, and shotgun courses and is an armorer for both Glock and AR-15 weapon systems. Captain Walker has been a SWAT Officer for 12 years, 10 of which were spent as the team’s Sniper and Assistant Commander.
